Go CU!

This has been a long season for the Buffs. Only two wins this year made it a little disheartening, but today they did put up a great effort. They looked like a different team then they did back in September and I am proud to be a Buff! Now if only Nebraska could have put on a hold on their show-off plays we might have had a chance to keep the score a little closer but what can ya do? Next year boys!!

Happy Holidays!!

My mom and I decided to go out to a couple stores this morning to hit up some sales. We got to Target at about 8 am and the one thing that I had wanted to buy was already sold out. I was a little bummed, but I was not about to get up all hella early for an ipod dock clock radio. And seriously, in all honesty I did not expect them to all be gone by 8 when the store opened at 6. How nieve was I? I heard one girl say she had gotten up at 4:30 in the morning! I didn't find a lot of gifts for people but I did manage to score the first season of The Office for 9 bucks at Wally World. I know, not really the holiday spirit buying gifts for myself but what can I say...

Do Something New

I love the website www.springwise.com. It's amazing! It's all about entreprenual ideas and buisnesses that people are coming up with. I had some down time today and browsed for a while. It made me start thinking more creativly. I hope to be able to own my own buisness someday and this site makes me think that it really is possible! Check it out and enjoy!

Free to be me

I absolutly LOVE Nike Free shoes. I love to go running and I have never put on a pair of shoes that make it easier and more enjoyable to run forever. It amazes me that Nike hasn't spent more time and money to advertise these shoes. I don't think I have ever even seen a real advertisment for them. This made me start thinking. We are bombarded by ads for shoes designed/sponsored by athletic starts (i.e. Jordans - need I say more?). And those shoes do nothing special for your feet. It's all image. But image sells. It just seems wrong to me that a company would put more time, money and effort into shoes that are all about image than performance, espially a company that prides itself as being an athletic footwear and apparel super giant. Stay away from the Jordan's and Carmello's of the world and stay true to what the brand was built on.

Destroyed - What happens when a cat is on a diet

Destroyed

So, a couple weeks ago I took my cat to the vet. I was told there is a new view as to how cats should eat....only wet food and 2-3 ounces of it a day. Kacee has not taken to this very well. I take that back, she LOVES the wet food but she acts like she is constantly starving. Case in point, I was gone for the day on Sunday and came home to find all her treat bags on the floor. All except one that was missing. The next day I came home from work and found it smack in the middle of the hallway totally torn up with every single treat gone. I'm not sure if this is a sign that she was bored or if I should feed her more...
